I like #2, but I think that i like the color of “rare” from line #1, and like the color in form from Line #3. I do like the font in #2, but think the color needs to stand out more against the black, or whatever background you chose to put it against. I do think the font looks good as is.

I agree with most everyone on Logo #2. It’s a matter of switching small aspects on the winning one so you can fine tune it. Try switching cases in first/last words and beefing up the bevel/emboss on one or the other, etc.

@KellyCo Thanks for the reminder to check with light background. Since this site is darker I guess it makes sense to create two logo versions total.

@Josh We’re still in the process of “dirtying” up our website. Even a grunge texture overlaid on the background will make a difference. We’re trying to set our core branding first, then apply it to all of the marketing/digital materials.

I like #2 the best because of the contrast. I think the upper case R and F have the best readability.

Make sure you do another set suitable for a white background for letterhead, and other print items!

Kerning seems off on the letters, and why pick a grunge font for the logo while going for a clean look on the website?

I like # 2 best, but #2 still needs work. I don’t think that I like the font of the second half of the word. It looks like the printer is running out of ink.

The word “rare” is hard to read in #1 (too dark), and #3 again, looks like the printer is running out of ink.

In my opinion, the connotation of “rareform” is excellence. If the logo looks like ink is missing, this is not in rare form.

Try experimenting with #2 by putting the first “r” in lower case, and leave the “f” in upper case.

On my laptop monitor, “Rare” in Logo 1 blends into the background. I prefer the look of Logo 3, but the color ain’t doin’ it for me.

i agree with #2 but think the “f” should be lower case (?)
